Ride With Pride is Augusta County’s premier destination for equine-assisted therapies. We offer a nurturing space for individuals aged 4 and up facing intellectual, physical, or emotional challenges. Our programs are designed to unlock the potential within, providing paths to empowerment and healing.
Through the unique connection between horses and humans, we facilitate personal growth and joy. Each ride is more than just a lesson; it’s a step toward overcoming obstacles and achieving milestones in a supportive and inclusive community.
Annual Dinner and Auction
This year’s spectacular event will be held at the Backburn Inn, Staunton, VA on November 8, 2025 as we celebrate THIRTY-SIX YEARS of serving the Valley!
This is our largest fundraiser of the year; a fun and memorable evening supporting the Valley’s Therapeutic Riding Program as we support and benefit those in the Valley with special needs.
Every contribution brings us one step closer to enhancing our programs and enriching the lives of those we serve.

Join us for our annual Weekend Trail Ride!
Come enjoy scenic wooded trails at your own pace. All trails will be well marked! 3 trails are available — 5 miles, 8 miles, 10 miles (all approximate) Maps are available for all routes. All will have water crossings! Footing will be mostly forest floor, some forest road, not rocky, but there will be muddy/sloppy spots, depending on weather.

🐴 Important Update from Ride With Pride 🐴
We want to keep our RWP community in the loop on some upcoming changes.
📅 Effective August 1: Cedar Creek Stables will no longer be providing hay, feed, and bedding for our horses. We’re actively seeking community donations and support to help cover these needs — if you or someone you know can help, please reach out!
📅 Effective September 1: RWP has been asked to relocate from Cedar Creek Stables. We’re searching for a new home that can house up to 11 horses with stalls, pastures, indoor or covered riding space, and outdoor riding space and storage.
