What is Equine Indirect Release?
A new, diverse, rapidly developing therapy with a gentle approach that embraces the concepts of holistic and osteopathic methods to address the body as a whole and maximizes it’s ability to heal. This innovative technique manipulates the precise anatomical structures in an indirect method which enables the body to begin the healing process. Equine Indirect Release, or EIR, is an innovative approach to releasing tension and fascial constraints throughout the body, utilizing a light touch and soft tissue manipulation. This is not a replacement for veterinarian care, but can contribute to your horse’s overall health program.
How can it help my horse?
EIR has contributed to healing in a wide variety of pathologies, including, but not limited to, limb deviation in foals, anxiety, EPM, front and hind end lameness, hypersensitivity, ulcers, colic, navicular, fibromyopathy, polyneuritis, lack of appetite, girth sensitivity, muscle imbalances, gait irregularities, depression, laminitis, healing from trauma, scar management and poor saddle fit issues.
Robin’s appointments are about 45 minutes per client with a minimum donation of $75 to Ride With Pride.
Robin has years of saddle fitting experience- everyone from Olympians to pleasure riders, and is driven to help people and their horses be as comfortable in their tack as possible. Robin currently works with World Equestrian Brands.
Stalls will be available for the day for $25, if anyone should need them between appointments or if they bring more than one horse.
